Ben Robinson is an extremely experienced apprentice with over 100 winners to his name so give him a good horse and he will do the rest. Axel Axelrod was purchased in 2018 for £125k and spent his two year old career with Richard Fahey. He started favourite in his first three runs over 6f (2, 2 and 1). He then ran in a class 2 handicap at Doncaster over 7f (rated 78) before moving to Michaeld Dods yard in 2019. Since then he has only one placed effort to his name from 8 runs. BUT none of these races were over 6f, only one was in a class six race (in that race he was backed in from 13/2 to 6/4 favourite) and he is now rated just 62. It all suggests he has a big chance.

Oxted - Roger Teal yard the 3yo has been a winner at 7f on good to firm ground, His last run came 28 days ago at Newmarket 6f good when he came 2nd to Dazzling Dan beaten 0.5 lengths, He chased leaders and not much room he had to shuffle back to midfield over 1f out made good headway to chase winner inside final furlong was pressing winner but held towards finish with Cieren Fallon claiming 5lbs in saddle , With it 0.5f less distance today if Cieren can better place horse in running today we could see a reverse of the placing with Dazzling Dan
