  1. Golden Drumlee - 1.30 Naas (ew @ 100/1 with Betfair)

Not shown a great deal so far but has hinted at ability. Was held up last time at Ayr in a two and a half mile maiden hurdle and finished in midfield. Made steady headway from four out but never troubled the leaders with a mistake at the last not helping. Could be interesting over a similar trip in the coming weeks.

  2. Water Sprite - 4.30 Navan (ew @ 50/1 with Bet365)

Ran as though her Cheltenham run was over a trip just too far when unplaced over two miles five furlongs, stayed on nicely from three out but didn’t quite get home. Last few runs, back in Ireland have not been as encouraging firstly at Fairyhouse in a highly competitive two and a half mile hurdle where she finished well beaten and then at Thurles where it was a similar story. There was a glimmer of improvement last time so could be on the way back so of each way interest at a big price."

  3. Oscar Ceremony- 4.30 Mkt Rasen ew @ 9/1 with Bet365

Has shown steady improvement in three attempts over hurdles so far and last time at Uttoxeter Made late headway to finish third in a maiden hurdle over three miles. The ground was pretty soft on that occasion and better ground could see him winning over that sort of trip.

  4. Pleasure Dome - 2.25 Leopardstown @ 5/1 with Bet365

Looked an unlucky loser last time at Limerick when despite there being just six runners her jockey got her boxed in with nowhere to go when she was clearly travelling best. When an opening did present itself she stayed on well enough to be a close up third and should be able to gain compensation for that effort sooner rather than later.

  5. Man of Plenty - 3.00 Sandown (ew @ 40/1 with Bet365)

Invariably finishes with a flourish at the end of his races no matter the distance. That has been the case on more than one occasion this season and his sole victory at Sandown owed much to those tactics when coming from the back as the leaders stopped in the heavy ground. A rise in the weights has made life more difficult and hasn’t really been competitive in his last two starts. Connections step him up in trip and that could be an interesting move.

  6. Flashing Glance - 4.10 Chelt @ SP

Was running a sound race in a big field handicap hurdle at Sandown and battling for a place when badly hampered and unseating the rider. Was stepped up slightly in trip next time at Hereford and appeared to find the trip on heavy ground too much as he weakened two out although he did not jump well which didn’t help his cause. Better ground last time at Leicester saw a better performance when finishing 2nd over two miles and similar conditions should see him back in the winners enclosure.
