No its not, it's a paddy power freeroll, dont really see how the mag can claim anything to do with it other than the fact you advertise the password, but then so do plenty other places so perhaps they should get some credit for the numbers too:ok
swampster
Re: Paddy Power WPT mag IWF Freeroll 05/10 8pm freerolls form part of advertising deals, so even though they host the tournament, it's in our mag. Semantics.
i'm lucky
Re: Paddy Power WPT mag IWF Freeroll 05/10 8pm Do WPT pay for the prizes or do the poker site pay you for advertising the game in your mag and fund the prizes. I have always wondered cause if it's the poker mag that provide the paid package/tickets can we have the games as buy ins.If it's the poker site that pay for the prizes then they don't probably care who enters them as all they want is traffic to there site. swampster
Re: Paddy Power WPT mag IWF Freeroll 05/10 8pm The poker site provides the prizes. true, they do want traffic to their sites, but only traffic that will continue to be depositing players (which, to be fair, doesnt necessarily mean UK players any more than European ones). Therefore you're starting to see old-fashioned freerolls disappearing. WPT Poker mag is doing the Bodog series starting October 31st that will feature a series of tournaments, all with low buy-ins.
