7.50 Leicester A competitive little handicap here with a couple of interesting runners and i am willing to take a small chance on Flaneur. This gelding is Tim Easterby's only runner of the day and is also David Allan's only booking. At Leicester this season Easterby has been represented 9 times and on 4 occasions has provided the winner meaning he has a brilliant 44% strike-rate there, contributing to a 15% strike-rate over the last 5 seasons. The ground tonight is soft and that is a positive as Flanuer has form on this type and with him winning off the same mark previously the weight should not be a problem. The last couple of runs have not been the greatest but the 4 before that in and around this mark of 77 produced three 2nd places and a win whilst coming here after a month off track shouldn't be a problem as he has ran well after a break before. I think Colonel Mak could prove the best challenger, being dropped down in grade and having a good jockey on board for the type of race it likes to run but this Easterby run has plenty of positives and at 9/1 i think is a little over-priced and worth getting involved with. 1pt E/W Flanuer at 10/1 with ToteSport

Re: Leicester - Tuesday 24th 6.20 Leicetser Ella has been entered in loads of races just recently but ground has clearly been an issue and it shouldnt be a problem today at last and she has been a model of improving consistency recently and has gone well fresh in the past and further 2lb rise for last second to useful veloso and the more rain they get the better and Leicester is renowned for its extra testing conditions when wet and should be right up her street. 0.5pt e/w ella 7/1 bet365 (again plenty of non runners now 4/1 best price)
