gazabroad Posted July 21, 2010 Share Posted July 21, 2010 I am testing a bit of a system that I've knocked up, and feel its time to test in public in order to discipline myself regarding selections. It would normally go in the systems forum, but I'm not ready to share the process just yet. Generally I get between 1 and 4 selections per day. They are usually favs, although not always, and my aim is to make a profit of about 30 pts per month. Stakes are advised at 1pt win or 2pts win from a 100pt starting bank. I will use SP to work out the wins and/or losses. Your selections are purely based on the clear top rated horses from my ratings which are now available free for all on this forum. I do not appreciate people using these and not advising where they are from. They are free for all not just for someone to assess and pretend to be some wonderful tipster. I note you had no selections on Saturday when the forum was down and you couldn`t access the ratings. This does not just apply to me credit should always be given to the source of the information especially if it is free and avialable to all. There is far more to the ratings than just the clear top rated horses and to deny other users the information freely available is wrong. I have been using your ratings with a combination of Masseys, the RP predictor, and ratings from another source. If I had been blindly following your ratings alone I would not have had just 2-4 selections per day, now would I? As for crediting you I think I just have, unfortunately You wrote here first before I saw it. All your selections are clear top rated from the ratings. I would not expect anyone to back all the top rated horses as that is a way to disaster. You have had no seletions on Saturday and again today when the other forum was down and only two selections on Sunday which, to be frank were easy picks. If I have wronged you then I apologise but it appears that the selections are strongly consolodated by the ratings if not picked from them. As for no selections on saturday, that is because I never bet saturdays as it always seems to throw up funny results on saturdays. I think its due to the "weekend punters" affecting odds, but hey what do I know? As for today there were 3 selections from the evening but I wont bother to post anymore on this thread as it all leaves a bitter taste now. Thanks for jumping the gun, funny how on the other forum when I told you I was using your ratings, you thanked me for the feedback. Doesn't matter now anyhow, as you'll see by my post count, I am not somebody who has just appeared and tried to take credit for your work.
