4.55 Newbury Decent looking handicap Major Phil has progressed nicely this season as most Cumani's handicappers do but a concern is the extra 2f here today, breeding certainly doesnt suggest this is the right move and has shaped as if needing that much further and is up 4lb for not winning last time out which looks harsh. The 2 3yr old runners at the bottom of the weights are both of significant interest both from respectable stables but look priced correctly. The one that interests me at the current prices is Reve De Nuit, he has finally come to hand again after going wayward after a win at Southwell in January, he won at newmarket on penultimate start in eye catching fashion and ran a very solid race in the old newton cup runs off a 1lb lower mark today and interesting that yard have booked Probert which looks a strong booking. 0.5pt e/w reve de nuit 12/1 Bet365

Re: Best bet of the day 16th July 8:50 Hamilton - Meetings Man 6 runners taking part here providing there are no NRs declared. Two C winners (my pick is one), no D winners. Tom Eaves, who rides today, won here in a cl5 on the horse over 12f in May and followed up with a 2nd in a cl6 11f, in June. Won a cl4 11-runner by 2L in the same month. Today's race is class 6! Would be silly not to have a little flutter on this. Win @ sp
