Seen these before and thought id try and actually win money on them today ! Basically good old Vic chooses 3 closely matched horses in open races and puts them in a 3 way match up. I like the thought of taking him on by taking 2 of the 3 horses in the match , in a perm, and using the Betfair current odds as my guidline. The 3 races I like are the 1:30 Newm & 3:00 & 4:10 at Ascot. Current betfair win odds in brackets 1:30 Newmarket Sea Lord 7/4 (8.0) Finest Reserve 7/4 (8.2) Mr Irons 6/4 (11.5) 3:00 Ascot Keenes Day 6/4 (12.5) On Terms 7/4 (8.0) Dazinski 7/4 (6.0) 4:10 Ascot Fleeting Star 11/8 (17.5) Drawn from the Past 15/8 (13) Cape Meldoy 15/8 (11.5) Ive opposed all 3 VC favs as the prices are clearly wrong. 8 bets , all level stakes, 2x2x2.. 1 correct treble nets me a payout of 20.74/1 , very tasty if I can land the bet. :hope Jeff
