Those performances were before he switched to John Balding which raises a slight concern as to whether he can reproduce that form. However, the signs are encouraging, as John Balding is in a mini purple patch with two seconds and a winner with his last three runners and two of those were at big prices. Looking at the trainer's record at Southwell, all John Balding's winners have been older horses and nearly all sprinters. Andrew Elliott has a profitable record when riding the stable's older horses too. This Ones For Eddy had a pipe opener on the 9th June which was his first run since the end of October. At 16/1 and a pound lower than his last win here, it looks worth risking This Ones For Eddy is revived by the fibresand.

Conditions were soft that day which offers hope he will handle fibresand here. 12/1 bet 365 9.10 Southwell Efisio Princess mutliple winner here over this trip and only 3 lbs higher than last win. 14/1 b365
