Golf: US Open 2010

Re: Golf: US Open 2010 Loving This Open, with the changing venue and the tough layout it always leads to some thinking time. Just got three bets to put up at the moment but will be back with more fore sure. David Duval @ 251 ew 6places betfred Theres not much to be said here. In the last year he has two finishes that have been inside the top 30, they were both runner up finishes. One was at the US Open last year, the other was at Pebble Beach this year. Im not really sure I need to say much more. At the price that's being offered with 6 places it's definitely worth a dabble! Ricky Barnes @ 126 ew 6 places BetFred Barnes is a player who really plays up to elite fields. In his last 28 starts he has 6 top 10s and 3 top 5s, two of these top 10s have been in majors (last years USO and this years Masters) and he also had a 3rd place last time out in the elite Memorial field. He comes in to the event off that mentioned 3rd place, and a 7th the week before at Colonial. In addition to this, he has local links having grown up close by playing Pebble Beach a number of times (he says 30+ full rounds). He also grew up putting on these poa annua greens so his local links may give him a little bit of extra help and motivation. Steve Marino Top 10/20 @ 19/6 WillHill/PaddyPower Marino is a guy who deserves a win but I'm not convinced has it in him. He has the game, just not the fortitude. However, if good finishes and prices are your after (which we are) and lots of cash is what hes after (which he is) then that's ok! Has finished in the top 20 7times in his last 13 events which includes a T14 on his debut at the Masters. Finished 4th here at Pebble Beach this season. He is a great driver of the ball, solid ball striker and good putter so has the type of all round game which should thrive on this course. GL:hope
