World Cup Calculator % of prizepool is your World Cup points as a % of the total points earned by players choosing the same country. How do I play? From 1st June up until the first round of group games are over on 16th June, you will be able to select ONE team participating 2010 World Cup in South Africa. To opt in from 1st June, simply log onto the InterPoker software, click on ‘Multi tourney’ then ‘Private’ and register for the tournament with the country name you wish to select. You will need to have earned 1 raked hand between 1st June and 16th to be eligible. Then all your play at InterPoker from 18th June – 11th July onwards combined with your team’s performance will determine your cash prize!! Important: Promotion registration in the software allows you to see how many players have chosen each team, but is not an actual tournament. Remember, choose just ONE team as those choosing more than one team will be ineligible from the promotion. You may unregister and re-register if you change your mind but make sure you’ve decided by 16th June when registration closes! What are the prizes? A cash prize of up to €2500 will be awarded depending on where your chosen team finishes, and this will be split between all of the players that have chosen the same team. However, there will be a twist! Here it is: Your percentage of the prize pool will be based on the percentage of World Cup points you have earned compared to the other players that have chosen the same team. Example 1 Nickname: Stargazer Selection: Spain Total Players Selected: 20 Stage Reached: Winners / €2500 Prize pool % of Spain World Cup Points earned by Stargazer 20% Prize: €500 Example 2 Nickname: Galactico Selection: New Zealand (N.Z) Total Players Selected: 1 Stage Reached: Second Round / €250 Prize pool % of New Zealand World Cup Points earned by Stargazer 100% Prize: €250 World Cup Points - Players receive 1 ‘World Cup’ point for every €0.25 generated in rake between 18th June and 11th July. The promotion is only open to real money players and all players must generate at least 1 ‘World Cup’ point to be eligible for prizes. It may be wise to think strategically and choose your team carefully.
