NRL: Round 12

Eels win by 1-12 margin @ 4.00 sportingbet Dragons have 6 players who played in the Origin game on Wednesday night: Boyd, Morris, Cooper, Weyman, Costigan and Creagh while the Eels have Hayne and Yahu. It looks like that Cooper is out while Weyman is doubtful. For the Eels, Tahu is also doubtful. The Dragons are a team that grind away and look to kick and then pressure the other team into mistakes. They will have to do this without Weyman it seems as he has been getting good yardage to set up Soward for the kicks downfield. If he does not play then more will be expected of the likes of Costigan and Creagh and will be interesting to see if they can back up after Wednesday night. The Eels forwards are much fresher and they will look to muscle up to the Dragons counterparts, and believe that they have a bit more depth on the bench with Mannah playing very well in the last few games. In the backs, with Hayne back at fullback, like him to probe and find the holes in a Dragons defence that is usually pretty good, but Hayne has that knack of finding them. Also with Cooper out, it takes away much of the Dragons potency out wide. Not much separates the backs though as both teams have players who can create openings and score tries. The Eels lost to their bogey side Cronulla las week so expect them to bounce back here, as will the Dragons, who have also had problems in playing against the Raiders. Eels seem to have a bit more creativity as they do look to offload and without Weyman for the Dragons, it takes away their opportunity for the second phase play. With tired legs in the second half, like the Eels bench to make a decisive impact for them, and doubt that there will be much between the two sides, but believe the Eels will have enough to edge this Warriors win by 1-12 margin @ 4.55 sportingbet Impressed by the performance by the Warriors last week who never gave up and continued the fight against a Rabbitohs side and now have won successive starts. Even thought the Tigers beat the Knights, they really struggled to gain control of a game that when in form, they would have won by plenty, and they are trying to regain that form they had prior to losing 4 games in a row. They won this game by 17 points with 11 points scored in the last 6 minutes of the game, so there was not much in it until then. Do not believe that the Tigers are playing with much confidence while the Warriors, with 2 wins in a row, are, and they have a very good record against the Tigers. The Warriors have won 6 of the past 7 clashes between the two sides and have won 2 of 3 at Wests, so they have their measure. Look to the Warriors to continue what has brought them success and that is to offload the ball and create second phase play. On a wet night, this will cause the Tigers problems as they will find it difficult to adjust themselves to this. Like the Warriors to cause an upset here
