Leicester 24th April

1.55 Leicester WOW, Beat the bell odds on to land a 12 runner sprint, sorry he won well enough last time out and escapes penalty and is well handicapped on aw form but even so would touch it at odds on, but the rest of the field arent anything special and are priced 10/1 bar and the next best could well be Lucky Redback, I have tipped him several times on the AW he is clearly a useful sort if not a character and awkward ride at times of race lack lustre but picks up late his form is better than it looks since his win on comeback run at lingfield. He is a previous CD winner and acts well on fast ground and like I said still not handicapped out of things yet and looks a massive price at 10/1. 0.5pt e/w lucky redback 10/1 pp 4.05 Leicester Not a very special handicap, with most of these out of form or first run of the season so might be worth taking a risk on Carr Hall who won in gritty style on penultimate start on AW, then flopped last time out effectively 2lb lower in handicap today and good enough claimer claiming 7lb puts the weight on his back at a very low mark considering the lack of depth in the race and he could easily bounce back, acts on turf as he won in Jersey 3 times. 0.25pt e/w carr hall 6/1 bet365

Re: Leicester 24th April 1:55 Leicester: Dancing Maite 2pts win 1pt place 20/1 William Hill Beat the Bell is all the rage after his runaway win in an apprentice race and does appear well handicapped back on turf, so could easily follow up. At a much bigger price Dancing Maite is worth a second look. Not hard to forgive first run of the season, heavy going and a furlong too far. He ran ok for a long way and back in trip and on a sounder surface could go close. Dancing Maite ran in this race last year, and was second. Reunited with Jimmy Quinn who rode him last year Dancing Maite may surprise.
