Another Punt! just an idea - breaking some rules in terms of staking but its a punt after all.......... Strategy is: 1.Tennis - Set Betting only 2.Matches considered where favourite is 1.70 or better - i.e. a fairly close match. 3.Lay favourite for 2-1 sets 4.If I lose then I have a staking plan over 4 bets. ---------------------------------------------- Bet 1: Hanescu v Serra - Set Betting Lay Serra (2-1) @ 5.5 - £10 (potential profit: £9.51 liability: £45)

Re: Tennis Set Betting Good luck :ok I am a bit confused though surely if its likely to be a fairly close match you are better laying 2-0 rather than the 2-1 which is more likely in a close match? The odds for that are currently between 2.8 - 3.1 so you should get about 2.95 or so. You have also taken the worse possible odds that were available on betfair with the current spread 4.5 -5.5. It might have been worth trying to get matched at 5.0 or something as the match isn't going to start for a while.
