Hi All Engagement Party Invite Vickie and I are having an engagement party on Friday 28th May at a local club here in Newcastle. I have already invited a few people who i have on my facebook and a few others also. I would like to extend this invite to all my friends on the forum, so that I dont miss anyone out and no one can say they never heard about it. Please PM me if you would like to attend and ill send you details of where we are having it and where to stay etc. Its also a chance to meet my new son, who is due in next few weeks, and he will be there! PL Private Poker Event on Sat 29th May in Newcastle Further to the engagement party, to make a weekend of it, I am holding a Private event at Aspers Casino on the Saturday Afternoon. If you plan on coming to the party, why not play the event the next day, or if you cant make it on the friday, you could always come just for the poker on the Saturday. So....again, if you would like to play the event, please post up here and ill sort out the details in next week or so.

I knew there was something, just couldn't think what it was until I saw it on my phone diary. :$ I may able to get up there for the Saturday though. :loon

If anyone was looking for a cheap hotel to come along to the party/poker The Premier Inn Newcastle (Holystone) is just off the A19 and around 5 mins from our venue, and 15 to Newcastle City Centre Price is £29 on Friday and £54 Saturday for 2 sharing a twin/double Hope to see you there ps.....details will be sent out soon to all who are coming

Dont need any confirmation mate, poker will go ahead regardless and engagement do is at her dads pub we think so just book when you can, but that deal is only available 21 days in advance:ok

Going to see Aspers tomorrow and get it finalised. Deffo going ahead and we can have the structure any way we like Im thinking 5k chips with 25min levels:ok
Sounds good can the blinds start at 1/2 :rollin

What else you need to know Jimmy? We will sort the structure during the day on saturday, no point in a deepstack with 50 runners and no point in a turbo with 10.......see how many turn up and base it on that 6.30pm start at Aspers.
