Not a day to get heavily involved with Heavy ground you can expect some funny results. 2.40 Folkestone Desperate Dan is a likeable character with several good efforts over the years but his best form is on fast ground and all turf form has come at Bath which does tend to be a speciliast track. Gonna take Kyllachy Storm who has gone well fresh the last 2 times and has won in similar conditions under foot before, doesnt look well handicap but none of these really shape as being well handicapped apart from Straboe who is unexposed but unproven in these conditions. 0.25pt e/w Kyllachy Storm 3.40 Folkestone Top 3 in current market on BF all have fair shouts in my opinion. Harlech Castle was going from strength to strength on southwells fibresand throughout the winter and gets to race off a 3lb lower mark than last win on aw and if conitnueing same vein of form should go well on ground which he should be suted by. Daddys gift is another that won a good race last time out back in Dec at kempton and gets into this off a 5lb lower mark and has won on soft ground but concern is the long break but yard in good enough form to suggest she is worth her place in the market. But more interestingly could be the irish Signore Momento who has the best form in these conditions and has been running in better races than this in ireland and is lightly raced, but major concern is the form of the yard and whether he is wond up enough. 0.75pt win harlech castle 0.25pt e/w Signore Momento 4.10 Folkestone A couple catch the eye Zabeel Palace has built into a useful hurdler over the winter and although seen little flat acton for 3 years and showing little at that point he has won off much higher marks but they have come on polytrack and faster ground. Hawridge star is clearly not the easiest to train but has gone well fresh last 2 starts and on miserable ground but maybe just a little too high in handicap now. But for me it has to be Goodwood Starlight who is lightly raced for his age and done little worth noting last year but has joined a new yard and is on a career low mark and has won off much higher marks and in similar conditions. 0.5pt e/w Goodwood Starlight

Re: Folkestone 1st April Hopefully going to Folkestone tomorrow if it doesnt get called off, expected bigger fields 2nd flat meeting of the season, but numbers will probably drop even further tomorrow with the going as it is. 2.40 and 3.40 both look a lottery
