1:50 - Killard Point I cannot see past the top weighted horses in this race, Killard Point and Freeze Up. Both horses are the only ones in the race to have won at this distance (other than Quentin D'ex, but his only win has been on heavy ground, and to be fair it was a very weak race with two of the five runners not finishing), but my slight preference for Killard Point is down to the fact that his form at this course reads 1-2, and he's generally a very consistent horse whereas Freeze Up blows hot and cold. Both horses run well on both good and soft ground. Killard Point finished runner up to The Shy Man last time out, in a better race than he'll face here, so match fitness should now be there considering that was his first run for a few months. Freeze Up hasn't run for 53 days, so is entitled to need the run, but shouldn't have too much trouble taking on the rest of what looks a pretty weak field. Killard Point - 2pts win @ SP. Re: Southwell March 23rd ballycarney 150 south. 1 pt win. jumping can bring improvement and not much would be needed in this type of race. handicapper dropped a couple of pound and trip and ground suitable. the current 8/1 looks a big price.
