Gingertipster
Expect an announcement any time soon that War Of Attrition will, after all, run in the Grand National. His price Betfair has tumbled recently and is now barely bigger than bookmakers odds. Connections were scathing towards BHA handicapper Phil Smith about his weight. Livid in fact, "pulling him out" of the race. Yet other handicapping experts saw him as one of, if not the best in. Wonder if connections have got a good price? Suspect a change of heart looms. :eyes
billy the punter
Re: War Of Attrition to run in National If they re-nag I don't reckon it was a coup to get a price, I actually reckon they are thick as shit and didn't realise that he is actually well treated. They are 20 years out of line with their thinking. We said it at the time they have over reacted and will regret it. How can a trainer be so ignorant about such matters, doesn't surprise be to be fair, there are plenty of people in the game who are totally clueless.
