In-play betting

Ok guys i need some help here. I have a system that has around 75% strike rate. I have been testing it with laying at 2euros. It has yield of 20% through year. So my question is how can i minimize those losing selections in-play when i know for sure that horse will win? Let's say I stake 2eur on 16.00 odds and if I know he will win would be good for me if I back it in-play on odds of 8.00? Is this possible and how do you do it if you do it? thanks
