Re: Hereford 1st March 17:00 Hereford. Calico Rose comes from a yard who are in fine form in this sphere, having a 1-2 at Kempton on Saturday. This mare comes from a 2m6f winning hurdler and is a half sister to a decent 3m chaser, so the pedigree looks decent. Effectively races off 10st with the jockey (who looks to be a very good prospect for the future) being able to claim the full 10lbs off. Means it is a lot better weighted than some of these who have raced before and won, some not looking too convincing. The King horse may win this well, but the fact is that it took so long for the penny to drop may mean this occurs again, and I won't be surprised if it is still very green. 0.5pt EW @ 10/1 Bet365 BOG
