Southwell - Tues 23rd Feb

16:00 Southwell A repeat performance from Good Old Thyme in his race at Doncaster LTO should be enough to see him land this contest in my opinion, even after a 5lb rise in the weights. He was a half length 2nd to Sir Harry Ormesher. Sir Tantallus Hawk was 5th in the same race and runs off the same mark today but he was almost 5 lengths behind Good Old Thyme that day so it will be hard to judge if the pull in the weights will be enough to reverse that form. Giles Hawkins takes the ride again and he is a very capable 7lb claimer so that claim will still be useful to have despite the rise in the weights. 1pt win Good Old Thyme @ 5/1 (Bet365 - BOG)

Re: Southwell - Tues 23rd Feb 4.00 South 5 pts ew Good Old Thyme @ 5/1 Generally Competitive race, but I am really liking the chances of Good Old Thyme here. He looked to have won the race last time out, until Alan King's Sir Harry Ormesher came and gubbed him late on. However, he has been a model of consistency, and I still think he is well handicapped off a mark of 125. He also has the assistance of the very capable Giles Hawkins, who claims 7 lbs. He had Sir Tantallus Hawk behind him that day, and I cant see any reason why he will reverse the form. That Doncaster race was a true test, and I think Good Old Thyme will get a deserved 2nd victory of his career today.
