Did win April last year but has plenty to do here off top weight although harry Skeltons 3lb a small plus. Beaten fairly easily when 3rd here on chase debut. Rileyev Trained by Venetia Williams who likes it here and has to be respected. Has only 5 runs under rules here and 1st time tried over this distance. Unexposed and French bred is bound to improve for the last run. One Cornetto Been around a while this one with a career spanning 6 years but only 25 runs. Now with Gifford, the horse won a chase in Jan this year easily off 91 which was 1st win for 5 years. Will like the ground even softer. Legal Glory Seems to be a Worcester specialist, and does stay further so should have no problems with the trip. Main issue could be the ground as the horse rarely runs on it and has beaten soundly both times Holmwood Legend Chase debut, stays much farther than this. Hasnt shown much in the 5 runs to date. Prince Massini Been out of form through the winter and best form seems to be april to june. Last win was off a rating of 90 and still 5lb higher than that effort. Call me sam Seems to prefer the faster ground so this will be too tacky i feel for it to be involved. Alfatrix Seems to be better suited to a minimum 2m rather than further. Often disappoints when fancied but does get in here off a rating off 94 which may help Wasntme Has won twice in 14 races including off a mark of 88 earlier this season on the testing Chepstow track. That was over 3m 2f which was a big step up from 2m. Has ran well previously and will like the ground King Raven Now dropped in the ratings but hasnt shown much this season as yet. Seems to handle the ground. Aboukir Bay Would be typical of Pipe to win this with a horse that has failed to show any form to date. Possibly would have won last time out when falling.
