Ultra Simple Rating System

Hey all, i saw this somewhere the other day, and thought the idea could have some merit. You basically get a list of horses for 1 meeting, complete with OR TS and RPR. You find the average for each one, for each horse and then add up the average. This gives you a rating - the higher the rating the more likely it is to win. Ok so im going to apply it to only Handicap races. It takes a little while to get the data off racing post, so iv only done a few for tomorrow: There will be 2 backs and 2 lays per race. Lets see how it goes. Re: Ultra Simple Rating System Actually I just looked at the odds for those guys.. and there's no way would work. So im changing it. There will be no lay bets, and the Backs will be to a place. So

The prices are very high in my opinion.
