3.45 Kempton Spinning - great S/R on the AW and showed he can act not only at Wolves when credible third over CD last time out. This looks a weak race for the grade so I think he can probably make the step up, just like Jaconet did for the yard early in the year. 6/1 Bet 365, 0.5 pt EW.

Re: Best bet of the day - Sun 14th Feb Black Dahlia 3.45 Kempton (8-1 Paddypower) There are often a lot of close finishes at Kempton and it seems to suit prominent runners more than hold up horses but a look at Black Dahlias form sees it won here by 6 lengths after being held up in a class 4 race over 7f. It stepped up in class to listed level, struggled to find the gaps at the right times but still managed to finish 5th, eventually finishing strongly when it was too late. It was rated 89 that day but was only beaten into 5th place by hd, 1/2 l, neck and 1 1/4lengths and those rivals were rated 109,109,105 and 100. Tylicki is on board, he has 2 wins and a place on the horse from 5 races and has won on it on turf and all weather. He will need to hope the gaps come or position his horse well if holding it up but currrently rated 94 and still might be a bit better than that. Only real concern is the 60 day break. I've also had a small bet ew on this horse at 40-1 for the Lincoln at Donny.
