1.50 Southwell A race that certanly wont take much winning and anything in this that has potentially improved or possiby in this on a lenient mark could nick this from some very moderate performers on paper. Im siding with Granakey he is drawn low in stall 4 and is a course winner 3 times from 6 runs (1 from 2 over other trips). He shaped well on return from yet another break and suggests maybe Williams has finally got this one right having had very few races recently and is dangerously handicapped if back to anywhere near his best, runs off 47 today last won off a mark of 56!! 0.5pt e/w granakey 2.20 Southwell Real fan of Glovers runners, they often make bold bids and his yard continue in good form they run La Capriosa today and although First swallow could prove a tricky one to beat but if anything near her best after run last week should be in the thick of it, now just 3lb higher than last win and good record here with a 33% strike rate from 9 runs, also Winston gets on very well with this horse with many placed efforts and all her wins have come with him on board! 0.5pt e/w La Capriosa 3.20 Southwell Awful 2mile handicap with many of these with plenty to prove as far as surface and trip, which to me on paper looks a 2 horse race, that being the old boy Victory quest who won a 5 runner competitive affair round here a week ago step up in trip no problem but 6lb penalty looks more than enough, that leaves Spring breeze who has finished 2nd on last 2 starts and although well beat the winner looks a horse on massive progress on fibresand and this is much weaker, races off same mark today and had previously been in good form over hurdles. 1pt win spring breeze 4.20 Southwell Hits only jude looks a big price on course form. Run as if something was amiss over CD 40 days ago, but goes well fresh and aslong as all is well again he must hold a strong hand in this. 9 races over course with 3 wins and 4 seconds, although probably plenty high enough in the weights these days but that is because of his consistency should hold solid place claims at 7/1. 0.5pt e/w hits only jude 7/1 bet365

Re: Southwell 11th Feb (AW) GRANAKEY 1.50 is 1713 over CD,bit up and down,both wins were in a class 6 race and a 3rd in a class 5 race,all of wins have come at southwell.3/1 win hills CHARGING INDIAN 4.50 is very good over CD with a record of 1411 which were all in class 5 races,in good form,should be in the mix despite a penalty.9/4 win hills
