How will you treat jump form over next few days?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys Bit of a discussion for a friday evening! Saturday sees the return of jump racing thank goodness (never thought I'd say that lol), but many horses have now missed races/training/gallops etc. during this cold spell. Will you be treating form the same as you usually do or will you be a little more careful etc?? Certainly me and many of you have never seen such a long period without racing so probably a learning curve for everyone in a way!

Re: How will you treat jump form over next few days? Was thinking the same Chris to be honest I know for sure Henderson seems to have managed to keep his string going with 3 winners on the bumper card on Wednesday I note his runners in The Lanzarote Hurdle at Kempton are Duc De Regniere as well as Tasheba. Duc De Regniere has 3 course runs with 3 course wins. It did have a tough race at Newbury when 3rd to Big Bucks but a 12l defeat to the champion isnt too bad. Tasheba could be a horse on the upgrade also & if it gets the trip will be dangerous. Geraghty is great judge of pace and is sure to have the horse handy, my concern would be the trip to be honest. Henderson has 7 runners over the cards tomorrow which is significant, pipe has 1 entry!, Nicholls has 6 & Hobbs has 8 runners. so for me, henderson, nicholls and hobbs are happy with their string to get them out on the track.
