Future's can be a bit tricky, but many people avoid future's just for the fact that you have to wait so long to see any payback that it is tough to set aside money you will not see again for months. I often suggest finding a book that will actually give you interest in money held in your account and often suggest futures for players who do this for a living. As far as your strategy for just betting dogs and totals I say Bravo! :clap I am not strictly a dog and totals player but I will often be in that situation more than naught. Baseball is a completely different animal and should be approached with a different view than football, basketball, etc. By taking all dogs you can have a losing record and still be on the plus side for profit. I often suggest parlays which is much different than in other sports as it will offset heavy favorites that are the right side, but we can get into this more when the season begins! Carmine
