Nade
Re: Black Belt Poker - London Live 12-14 March 2010 I've not seen all of those so can't comment, but would recommend you listen to his appearance on the 2+2 pokercast where he comes across extremely well. Obv not much value in this tournament though. If it's the one he was on a few months ago he comes across OK in it, has some good stories but i don't know if he's going through some money problems or something since then as he has a serious chip on his shoulder. BAM
Re: Black Belt Poker - London Live 12-14 March 2010 I agree with you about the value of the tournament bri, however what initially attracted me to the tournament is that there will be great players playing in it (channing is a quality player no matter what kinda bloke he is), nik persaud, marty smyth, akenhead, devilfish. All great players and if I do end up on one of their tables throughout the day(s) :hope then that will be value enough for me as I reckon I'd be able to take a lot away from that! :ok Good luck Gaz :ok Still can't see your point though - you think it is value to sit at tables with world class players? Pick your spots man it would be cheaper to go to the T.I.P.S day in Newcastle :lol I've played with all of those you mention (except devilfish) and they all destroyed me (except channing). The only one I really got an education from was Akenhead a class act and a gentleman :clap
swampster
Re: Black Belt Poker - London Live 12-14 March 2010 Decided not to go for this as Channing is coming across as the biggest tosser around in the appearances on Party Poker CH5' date=' PKR HU and Durrrr challenge so i think Wasp is right for once ... :unsure :eek :lol.[/quote'] completely wrong. There are a lot of idiots in poker (i know, i've met a few) but he's a really nice guy. Obviously a businessman who's trying to make money ;) but still a nice bloke. GeordieGaz
Re: Black Belt Poker - London Live 12-14 March 2010 On train on way to London now, should arrive in London at around 10.45am. Looking forward to this a lot, have seen the list of names playing in this and although there are some world class players I don't feel intimidated, just excited to be playing amongst some of the best in the world. Will definately have to bring my A-game to the table today though. Day 1A ended at Level 12 (1k/2k) with 35 players remaining and Toby Lewis massive chip leader. :ok Live Updates: http://www.aworldofpoker.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=23&sid=31662b314a87d6a9f52eb9c8c892cc26 Live Streaming: http://www.thenutz.tv/live.php
