1.00 Southwell Not an easy race with many of these running well and go well on the surface but im gonna opt for Onemoreandstay who was rather pleasing over course and distance last time out after 226 days off, and was 9 lengths off the runaway winner shadows lengthening who has since gone on to win twice, gets into this race off same mark and refitted with cheekpieces (not applied last time but won with them on, on penultimate start) 1pt win onemoreandstay 3.00 Southwell Mozayada could benefit from a super weak race here, he loves it round southwell with 14 runs and 5 wins and many more places. He appears to be running into some form with a good second to salerosa last time out up 3lb for that which is fair enough they were clear of anything else that day and remains well handicapped having won off 77 is now just 75. 1.5pt win mozayada 3.30 Southwell General tufto loves it round here and running well enough with a cosy win last time out but a penalty may find him out over the less exposed and a horse clearly improving massively since swap of yards topcroft has been a runaway winner last twice and although up 4lb he still looks clearly better than this sort of class and his jockey has managed to claim 2lb more in this event and would e hard to beat on that if taking to this surface 1pt win topcroft

Re: Southwell 17th Dec (AW) 3.30 Southwell Very Well Red gets on well with Daryll Holland and teaming up on the Peter Hiatt-trained mare this afternoon could leave the field in their wake off what is potentially a good mark. They first teamed up together in June at Bath when finishing four lengths clear of the field off a mark of 63. Raised in grade with the race not run to suit over that same course and distance she flopped in July but ran much more promisingly in August when she had to settle for a position in behind Lady Florence, and still plugged on for third. That came off a mark of 70, but a series of disappointing runs since has seen her rating slashed to 56 here. She unseated her rider last time out at Lingfield so we haven't really had chance to see her running off a mark this low for a while, and when she was seen prior to that she came up against a winner waiting to happen in Muftarres, who looked ready to strike stepped up in trip that day. She had to settle for a sub-standard position in the field again that day, today I think she could get the run of the race from stall 10 and she has course and distance winning form from in a claimer, as well as an all-weather win off a 3 lb lower mark, albeit on polytrack. A potential outsider that could spring an upset. 14/1 Bet 365, 0.5 pt EW (3 places, 1/4 odds).
