Hexham - 9th Dec

Recommended Posts

I was looking at a few stats and found that Graeme Lee has the best record at this track currently with 35 winners while Denis O'Regan is 3rd best here with 18 winners. 2 of the top trainers here are J Howard Johnson (20 wins) and Ferdy Murphy (17 wins). Looking at more recent stats over the last 14 days these trainers also feature as trainers in form, as do their stable jockeys: J Howard Johnson - 7 winners in last 14 days Ferdy Murphy - 6 winners in last 14 days Graeme Lee - 7 winners in last 14 days Denis O'Regan - 8 winners in last 14 days Sue Smith (Trainer) and Richard McGrath (Jockey) also have good records here but are not as good over the last 14 days. Having looked through the racecard for tomorrow at a glance I can see these trainers/jockeys coming away with more winners to add to these stats and their horses are as follows: 12.20 - Only The Best (Ferdy Murphy/Graeme Lee) 12.20 - What's Up Woody (J Howard Johnson/Denis O'Regan) 12.50 - Indian Groom (J Howard Johnson/Denis O'Regan) 12.50 - Catch Bob (Ferdy Murphy/Graeme Lee) 1.20 - Eco Story (J Howard Johnson/Gary Derwin (10lb claimer) ) 1.20 - Mole Control (J Howard Johnson/Denis O'Regan) 1.50 - Fast Forward (M Todhunter/Denis O'Regan) 1.50 - Nouveau Maire (Ferdy Murphy/Graeme Lee) 2.20 - Drever Route (J Howard Johnson/Denis O'Regan) 2.20 - Riguez Dancer (Ferdy Murphy/Graeme Lee) 2.50 - The Hollinwell (Ferdy Murphy/Graeme Lee) 2.50 - Abbeybraney (J Howard Johnson/Denis O'Regan) I would imagine a few of these will contest favouritism but it will be interesting to see what kind of returns there are to 1pt win singles for each selection. :ok

Re: Hexham - 9th Dec 12:50 Hexham Catch Bob looks a good bet here in a very tight handicap hurdle race. My selection won nicely over the distance LTO in a Class 3 handicap at Leicester. Travelled well throughout when being held up and stayed on well to win by 2 lengths. Runs off 7lbs higher today but should go on the ground conditions having won on Soft going and Yearling. Also had a good 2nd to Trafalgar Road at Haydock back at the start of last month in Heavy going. Was only beaten 2 and a quarter lengths and the winner has since ran a good 3rd in a Class 1 handicap hurdle race since off a mark of 126 (5lbs higher than the win at Haydock). Jockey and Trainer are in good form and also have good records at this track. Open De L'isle and John Forbes should be potential dangers having both won in the mud, they both won LTO so have penalties to carry as well. 1 pt win Catch Bob @ 9/2 (Paddy Power - BOG)
