2.50 Naas Stoneraker was entered into a race that fell foul of the weather a couple of weeks ago but makes his belated handicap debut over fences today. As a hurdler he showed plenty of ability, landing a hat-trick in 2007 and hitting a rating of 113 over the smaller obstacles last year. This season trainer Dessie Hughes has opted to send him over fences and he has shown ability, most notably on his debut in a beginners chase at Clonmel, the form of which is working out well. He hasn't ripped up any tries in two further starts since but it has given him further experience and now sent handicapping and dropped to a mark of 107 he could go well for a yard that nailed a winner at Fairyhouse the other day. 14/1 Bet 365, 0.25 pt EW.

Naas 13:50 - Plaisir D'Estruval (Each-way) @ 8/1 365 (bog) This one should be really suited by conditions as Naas this afternoon, ran on heavy ground two runs ago at Listowel when 3rd which was a sound race, won over the 2m 4f at Downpatrick also on heavy, fav looks a short price to me and I like this one's each way chances, hopefully 8 line up.
