After eventing ?

Can someone please outline the exact rules on after eventing? I had a go at someone on a thread here who boasted about a £1,000 bet when the side were 4-0 up. I then advised someone on the same thread to lay off their bet as they had bet on 4-0 at 20/1 and there were still 20 minutes left. I got called a muppet by the original poster, which was OK. I didn't retaliate. Later I saw that all my posts on that thread had been deleted, "This thread is a mess - I'll remove all the after eventing posts and insults" My post advsing someone to lay off the bet was not intended as an insult, simply as advice. I also posted later saying that I hoped he got out in time, again deleted !! What are the rules ? My take was that after-eventing was not on at all. Is this not true? Also, who decides that they can carte blanche delete all my posts, even the ones that are offering advice to other gamblers to maximise their profits ? If this has been posted in the incorrect place, then I apologise, and can it be placed in the correct forum. Thanks.

Re: After eventing ? Wrong section, but I am sure a Mod will move it.

From the House Rules 1) Post bets before the event is played. 2) Do not edit posts containing bets. This may lead to confusion as people can get the idea you posted after the event, or changed your bet after the event. For corrections just add another post. With regards to the rest of it, I am sure someone more qualified and clued up than me will be able to provide a more informative answer. I have after evented once, but it was because I put a bet on at the very last minute, and didn't have time to post it, so took a SS and sought permission from admin to post it up.
