Exeter today (Tues 20th Oct)

Recommended Posts

A nice card at Exeter today with some nice types for the future. 2.10 - Thedeboftheyear. Owned by the father of top bloodstock agent Anthony Bromley the horse is being ridden by Sam Waley-Cohen. Is this the last time we see him in these colours before being snapped up by Sam's dad Robert? 3.10 - Tataniano. Far too short and not a worthwhile bet this afternoon. However, could be interesting for better races over 2m this season. Already being talked about as the yards Arkle horse but is this because their strength lies in the staying novice chase dicision again this year? 3.40 - Sagalyrique. A nice horse of Sir Roberts and one I think connections are hoping to do well with over fences this year. Should be good enough to take this en route to success over fences. Nice of Sir Robert to send more horses to AK after the success the yard have had with Voy Por. 4.10 - Ballydub. Potentially a top staying novice chaser this season although disappointed over hurdles after falling behind Big Bucks at Cheltenham on New Years Day. Hunters Ploy was supposed to be a top prospect but not sure what happened after two 5th place finishes. 5.10 - Karasenie. Apparently very good and this recent purchase could have too much but depends on the strength of the others. No bet for me in a race which has owners like Louisville, Alan Peterson, Susan Roy etc..
