Ludlow 15th Oct

Recommended Posts

3.20 Ludlow Winsley hill won well on fast ground back in august and was only put up 4lb for that effort and then went on to fight a tougher race and make a mess of several jumps and pulled up but if repeating winning performance back under same jockey today could go well again. Foxesbow is a massive threat having won easily a novice handicap chase, this is tougher and has been raised 11lb but if anyone can find more improvement its this team! 0.25pt e/w winsley hill 7/1 pp 0.5pt win foxesbow 9/4 pp 3.50 Ludlow The snail is taking the pee a the handicap having one twice super easy and gets here today with just a 7lb penalty and will probably be his last chance before handicapper slaps him hard!! 2pt win the snail

Re: Ludlow 15th Oct 320 Ludlow Winsley Hill up 1lbs from winning weight, major concern over jumping, always seems to make an error of sorts, positive though that Daryl Jacob is back this time. Usually produces though and comfortable at weights/going/distance Dream Falcon is at a reasonable weight but seems to struggle at this distance. Orfeo Conti, no from over 3m Foxesbow, won LTO over distance at Llos Fas, off 99, 9lbs higher here. Improving type. Won when turned out quickly last time (6days), now 40odd since last. Potts of Magic, dour type, good e/w shot if back on form but losing distances lately show a downward trend. Brize Norton, Unlikely type again, not looking likely at distance. Marked Man, an old star for his stable but at 13years seems about 10lbs too high in the ratings though sure to get trip, place chances. Sydney Sling, no form at all over distance. Conclusion? Same as Chris34, Foxesbow seems most likely but I have a few question marks re. good to firm going and the weights increase. I'll have a 1pt e/w punt on Winsley Hill
