Re: Lingfield 14th Oct (AW) 13.30 Lingfield A lot of lightly raced horses appear here so this could be a hard race to call. Prince of Thebes has a 33% strike rate over course and distance having won once out of 3 occasions. That was almost a year to the day as it was on the 15th of October 2008. He went on to place twice on his 2 other runs over course and distance off marks of 80 (his win came off a mark of 70). Runs off 75 today so I wouldn't rule him out. Daniel Thomas was 2nd to Prince Of Thebes the day he won over course and distance, was only beaten a head that day and was 1lb higher than Prince Of Thebes, today he is 5 lbs lower so he should also be in with a great shout. He is also a course and distance winner off a mark of 64 so he is still 6lbs higher than that but he has won off 68 on the turf.
