2.10 Newcastle Field full of out of form horses but thunder bay showed hope last time out at redcar when 3rd in a competitive handicap is 2lb lower in the weights today and useful claimer on board claiming 5lb, last won in may off a mark of 57 rated just 53 today and sure to go well on the fast ground again. 0.5pt win thunder bay 4.25 Newcastle Amethyst Dawn ran an amazing race last time out to finish 2nd when 5lbs out of the handicap, draw not ideal but is a front runner and likely to be pushed to get up the front and fast ground to suit. 0.5pt e/w Amethyst Dawn 5.30 Newcastle African Cheetah has been a frustrating sort for me I am certain its well handicapped but seems to look a difficult one to win with but did win over this course in his maiden and could like a return back here and also step up in trip may just do the trick aswell and no worry of a Johnston horse seeing a trip out! 2pt win African cheetah

Re: Newcastle 30th Sept 4.25 Newcastle Lujano Front runners track, this horse can dictate early & win again following up recent AW success at Wolverhampton. I have noted so many horses here struggling to catch prominent horses & some rarely get in a blow. Apprentice McHugh looks a great booking also :ok
