Re: Would You Have Played It Any Different? I'd have gone a bit more preflop (500) and I think he would have called with his pretty hand anyway so the outcome would be the same. Wouldn't have pushed all-in preflop. You want the action, no need for recriminations here.

Re: Would You Have Played It Any Different? I'm not sure I agree wholly with 'runa' - your both only 12 BB deep here. And the tourneys on Virgin have steep blinds I'd be tempted to push and hope he's playing a weak ace or smaller PP. Raise 500 and you leave 600 behind if an ace dropped on the flop and he bet are you folding for 600 to win 2500 ? I'd rather get it on the Re-Raise as a lot of weaker hands are calling in this position -especially in a Freeroll. Now if I was deeper stacked then 400-500 is a good re-raise as I'd ahve enough behind to get away from the hand if it went pear shaped.

I'm with runa. The Kings are too strong to push for me, unless I'd pushed previously.

Re: Would You Have Played It Any Different? I would be pushing 100% of the time here with your stack size. Once you raise you are never folding and picking up the blinds is a significant increase to your stack here. Plus so many people will stack off with weak holdings here like 22+ A7s+ ATo+ and maybe even worse hands

Re: Would You Have Played It Any Different? Fairly standard hand on Virgin, in hindsight a push may have got him to fold preflop but anything else would probably have been called and the result the same.
