Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship

Recommended Posts

Fairplay to Sky with their early lines. Leeds -36 10/11 has to be snaffled. Will shorten at this number. No secret about Celtic's woes, with 6 star players being deported. Regular centre pairing and influential halfbacks amongst them. Welsh youngsters to be brought in against a Leeds outfit who put 70 on Castleford last week. Would expect similar on saturday. Game being played at Newport-Gwents ground, and weather forecast is fine. The dragons have a game there on Friday night when rain is forecast, but the pitch should be ok for Leeds superstars.

Re: Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship Liking Saints -24 also. Huddersfield set to field a weakened side before the CC Final next week. Brett Hodgson and Luke Robinson, amongst others, two of the game breakers to be rested. Will wait on st Helens team first, but Cunningham expected to be fit. St's will be smarting form their cup exit.

Re: Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship Two for me tonight and the lines have now moved a bit again: Harlequins (+8) to beat Hull FC @ 10/11 (VCbet - 8/11 avail. at BlueSq) 3/5 Harlequins just looked far too large for me yesterday so snapped up some of the +8 before it got cut. They've stuttered in recent weeks but have still won 7 out of 12 away from The Stoop this season - of course, after the handicapper has had his say! David Howell, Karl Temata, Danny Orr and Chad Robinson all miss out while Danny Ward faces a late fitness test. Hull have injury problems of their own with Kirk Yeaman and Shaun Berrigan ruled out for the rest of the season this week. They join Peter Cusack, Jamie Thackray, Motu Tony and Richard Horne on the sidelines while Chris Thorman has been told he won't play again this season. They do, however have Epalahame Lauaki making his debut and Danny Washbrook returning from injury. They've underperformed all season and were 'nil-ed' by Huddersfield last time out at the K.C. and, although Quins are no Huddersfield, they still have a chance to make the play-offs and are a handy side away from home. Wakefield (+10) to beat Warrington @ 4/5 (Coral) 2/5 Wakefield also look a bit big here. They're missing talisman Danny Brough tonight through suspension but have won 7 out of 12 away from home with the 10 start this season. A worry that they're also missing Tony Martin - so have no recognised goal-kicker with Jamie Rooney out on loan - but they haven't exactly been trounced this season in what could have been a difficult year for them. It seems the bookies believe Warrington will not suffer from the impending Challenge Cup final next week whereas Huddersfield will. Granted, Warrington aren't facing a wounded Saints outfit - or missing 10 first-teamers - but surely some players will have one eye on the final next week. They're also missing some decent players in Matt King (alright, not all of them 'decent'!), Brian Carney, Mickey Higham, Paul Wood, Chris Hicks and Ben Harrison. All in all, despite their denials I feel Warrington will still have one eye on the final next week. They no doubt need the win to keep their play-off hopes alive but with them being nowhere near the Top 4, surely the final is their greatest chance of silverware this season? They should win this but I'll take Wakey to finish within the 10 tonight. GL all :hope :ok

Re: Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship Lids -44 @ 4/6 now with sky. On the opening odds for Skys max'. Would'nt put anyone off SJ's 10/11 for the 44 deficit. Could be a point per minute for the loiners. Only 6/1 availablefor 80+ win margin. Sadly no tryscorer markets.

Re: Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship Top shout on Leeds Greenhoff :clap. I'm a wimp when it comes to big handicaps myself :$. One for me tomorrow after a small loss on Friday: Catalans (+8) to beat Bradford @ 10/11 (Various) 3/5 Bradford have built up a little run of form recently winning 2 out of their last 3 games both with and without the handicapper. This seems to have coincided with them finally getting a settled side out and they'll be hoping to finish an awful season on a high in the last few games. However, Odsal has been a graveyard for them for the majority of this season and they've only cleared this line once in their 11 games there this season - a 36-22 victory over Wakefield. Terry Newton is their only notable recent absentee with a fractured cheekbone for tomorrow. Conversely, Catalans have also been disappointing away from home this season winning less than half of their games and lying in a disappointing 11th position in the Away League Table so far. However, an 8 point cushion has resulted in a victory in 16 out of their 24 games this season and they'll be hoping to earn a win here to increase the gap on fellow play-off chasers Warrington and Harlequins tomorrow. They welcome back playmaker Thomas Bosc, but still have Steve Bell, Jamal Fakir and Jason Croker amongst their absentees. All in all, although there is a sense that Bradford have finally got their act together in recent weeks, I'd fancy a bit more home form in the bag before trusting them to overhaul an 8 point start tomorrow. GL all :hope :ok

Re: Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship Cheers lee. Over the moon with that one. Might have burned bridges with skybet though. Have noticed with Catalans, they leak pts down their left. The oppo' RW or RC have scored in 10 of their 11 aways. Sheriff occupies the bulls RW spot, but his try record borders on naff. Either Platt or Menzies at centre, depending on how McNamara wants to play it. Their a/time markets too short for me, so a wholly speccy punt on their FTS odds at 14's, 18's and 16's respectively. 3 way split stake. Should be a cracker at the Jungle later.

Catalans (+8) to beat Bradford @ 10/11 (Various) 3/5
Well that's Mr Walters off my Xmas card list. No Bosc and even worse no Greenshields in the side :@. Bradford had a field day :sad. Gonna leave tonight's game. Wigan on the h'cap look the bet to me but they can be unpredictable at times and I've not had the best weekend so far. GL if anyone goes for anything :ok.

Re: Rugby League..Super League 25 & Co-Op Championship Hi guys some good stuff here, only found this section on PL today. Do any of you guys do shirt number bets? I have been snapping up some really good handicaps recently and winning good sums of money! Eg. Castleford v Wigan had 96.5 as the handicap. With the high squad numbers (S.Tomkins =25) it seemed too good to be true!
