Hi Guys anyone around today to have some banter or some views on this afternoons races ? Seen some nice horse's so far at york, Sea The Stars is just an awesome animal and was nice to see Askar Tau win with the blinkers, looked to be beaten by Royal and Regal in that, and Showcasing was impressive as well. The Ebor is a hard one to fathom out, i feel the draw is not beneficial despite being told high are are going to dominate. It was good to see Mark Johnston being honest on the chances of Record Breaker who he feels the horse is going to find things tougher and also felt the horse was very exposed. Cumani's horse's seem to be running better and Waldvogal could be over priced at 50/1 and the favourite Changingtheguard comes here after running behind Harbinger at Chester, but that form has taken a huge dent after Harbinger flopping yesterday. but did win the Ulster Derby at Down Royal and seeing the chester run again the step up in trip should suit. Manyriverstocross came with a late rattle to beat Precision Break by a head when only getting 1lb in the weights and the latter gets a 4lb pull for that but looks not greatly drawn in stall 8 but should reverse that Goodwood run. Clive Cox's Red Merlin comes here in good heart and is on a four timer after wins at Chester, Goodwood and Haydock, he beat Manyriverstocross in the goodwood run when getting 2lb but has to concede is giving a 5lb turn around and the latter could reverse that form. Michael Bell's The Betchworth Kid ran a good third behind Schiaparelli in the Grp 2 Goodwood Cup and keeps his 100 mark back in Handicap company and the drop back in trip might just suit his cause here and Hayley Turner could have a pleasing return and might manage to get this close today. So a lot of if and buts and were to play for the draw, but i will go with the Paul Cole's PRECISION BREAK in this partnered by Paul Hanagan, really showed a good turn of foot to close down the leaders at Goodwood to get with in a neck and can make amense after he found all sorts of problems to get there in the race. 1). Precision Break (1pt e/w @ 9/1 most firms) 2). Wodvogal (1/2pt e/w @ 50/1 most firms) 3). The Betchworth Kid (1/2pt e/w @ 33/1 most firms) 3). Changingtheguard (1pt Lay @ 2/1 most firms) Good Luck :)
