Ebor's 2009/10 Season Football Bets

Hi all, As discussed, this is my new dedicated thread for all my football bets for 2009/2010 season. It's easier if they all go in here as I often sometimes have bets that don't have much of a write and so can't go in the forums and subsequently can't claim them in my P/L. The same goes for the odd bet from a tip from other people in leagues that I aren't knowledgable in. ... So they will all be contained herein. All bets on betfair. Generally 1pt stakes but this will vary. And that's it .... time to lose!!! :ok P.s. All P/L stats are in my signature ...

Re: Ebor's 2009/10 Season Football Bets #1 Villa v Wigan UNDER 2.5 | 1pt @ 1.95 The last four encounters between these two at Villa Park have all been UNDER (0-0, 0-2, 1-1, 0-2). Whilst Martinez is bound to be a bit more attacking minded than Bruce, I think Villa will want to keep it tight on the opening day of the season. A good, solid, low scoring pre-season for Villa make this a good bet imho. #2 Bolton v Sunderland UNDER 2.5 | 1pt @ 1.73 Very similar to the above bet - 5 of the last 6 of Bolton's games at home v Sunderland have gone UNDER. A Megson v Bruce match-off doesn't exactly shout goals and I hope the run to continue on Saturday. Last season's form is not really relevant but Bolton's last 6 games last year all went safely under. #3 Portsmouth v Fulham UNDER 2.5 | 1pt @ 1.72 Seven out of the last eight at Fratton Park have gone under and in what could be a long, hard season for Pompey, they will surely not want to give too much away in their first game, as they don't seem to have the firepower to overcome a deficit. Fulham only scored 11 goals on their travels last season and suggests this shoudl be a low scoring encounter.
