Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships

Recommended Posts

Dewsbury have plenty of trys in thier team. Epati, Bostock 8/11, 11 in last 9 games (2, 0, 3, 1, 3, 0, 1, 1) and Finn all consistent at crossing the whitewash. Finn the better priced @ 4/5, and having scored in 9 of his last 11 league games, worth a stab. Leeds & Gateshead double returning 2.02.sky. Reasons later.

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships One for me tonight

Huddersfield (-4) to beat Hull FC @ 10/11 (Paddy Power) 3/5

Am a bit stuck for time this evening but like the look of Huddersfield tonight. For me, I feel the handicap is taking next week’s Challenge Cup Semi into account a bit too much. Away from the Galpharm they’ve only failed to be ahead of the handicapper once in their 11 games this year – a 40-18 loss away at Warrington. Hull meanwhile have only been ahead 3 times at the KC this season so it’s the Giants tonight for me.

GL all :hope :ok

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships I'm with you Lee. 2 for me tonight. 3pts Huddersfield (-4) to beat Hull FC 10/11 Skybet Huddersfield are having a terrific season, particularly on the road as I've emphasised a lot this season. I think they'll win tonight too. They come into this game having won their last 3 while in contrast Hull's only 2 wins since the Magic weekend have been against the bottom two, Salford and Celtic. Hull flew out of the traps but it's all gone wrong since then. Huddersfield could have one eye on next week's cup semi final but I expect them to be more professional than that and with a couple of key players back tonight in Lolesi and Faiumu I think the Giants can win this by more than a try. 3pts Wigan (+8) to beat St Helens Evs Bet365 I'm always one to try and avoid taking St Helens on but this is the time we have to take notice of Wigan. Approaching the playoffs last season they flew home and they are doing the same again this season. Having made an awful start to the season, the Warriors have now won 7 of their last 8 matches and go to Knowsley Rd bang in form. St Helens are always dangerous and can take a team apart in an instant but a couple are coming back from injury and a couple more are out injured and it could be a nice time for Wigan to get an 8pt start. We all know the passion which runs through this match with the derby always eagerly anticipated. I expect it to be a bruising battle but one which will be close. Wigan have beaten Saints at Murrayfield earlier in the season and while I'm not 100% confident they'll win tonight, I do think they'll stay within 8 of the league leaders.

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships GL chaps. Had a nibble of Pulueta @ 3/1 anytime. Lethal close to the line, and only 3 tries behind Pryce in the ST's trycharts, which is phenom' for a 17 stone forward. Gateshead -4 10/11. hit some form since McCormack took over. Turned over division big guns Halifax and widnes in last two home games. Like this h'cap in what should be another 50pt+ game, if weather ok. 13/8 about London scholars

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships I watch the Rugby League but not a big follower as much as other sports with not many local teams around Middlesbrough. I obviously know Leeds are a good team and surely they will beat Warrington with a 10 point deficit on the handicap at home?

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships I don't know, I was close to taking Warrington +12 earlier on but I'm not quite sure enough to part with any cash. Leeds have been shipping points by the bucket load in recent weeks though so I can see Warrington staying within 10-12pts.

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships One for me today. 3pts Harlequins +12 to beat Bradford 10/11 Blue Square Harlequins come into this match on the back of 6 successive losses but I don't think that says it all. In those 6 losses they've played 5 of the top 6 and been to Catalans so they've lost some difficult games. They've had a lot of injuries and while nothing has changed today, the level of opposition has. Bradford have looked ordinary at best throughout the season but more often than not poor and abysmal. Last week's over Celtic should have given them some confidence but as we saw with Hull earlier this weekend it can be false confidence. Quins have a points scorer back in David Howell after his suspension and although they now lose Tony Clubb for 2 matches, Howell is a key man. Steve Menzies could be fit for the Bulls after he had swine flu and he'll be a big boost to the struggling Bradford side. 12pts is a lot to make up in Super League games these days and with the possibility that Quins recent performances and results haven't been as bad as their run suggests I expect them to stay within 2 tries of Bradford this afternoon.

Re: Rugby League..Super League Round 23 & Co Op Ch'Ships Quins won 22-14 so the handicap was never in any doubt. Good way to finish a good weekend. Some good handicap lines about this week. Hopefully there's more of the same when Super League is back in 2 weeks time :hope.
