Best Bet Of The Day 27/7/09 Yarmouth 16:30 - Tudor Prince 1pt win Nine runners line up for this class 4 handicap over six furlongs and this looks quite a tight heat and I don't expect much to split them, I'll mention the ones that I think we'll be up there, River Kirov is priced up as favourite and although he has been running well I think he'll find it tough to win off this mark and is worth taking on at the price, Filligree has never won off this mark and also may have enough on her plate despite a fair run LTO, Tyfos looks a very strong contender, been in good form, has won here previously, he was not beaten far LTO and should be up there again, Memphis Man under Paul Doe also is a C&D winner but he was beaten fairly when last seen here and think this looks tougher so I would not be rushing to back. On there day the four mentioned above could win this but the one I like is Tudor Prince. A C&D winner, all three wins have came over this six furlong trip. Was slightly disappointing on the all-weather at Kempton LTO when sent off favourite, he never really got going so im willing to forget, previous to that he looked as if he was set to win a race, had twice gone close off a mark of 69. He actually met River Kirov a couple of runs ago, finishing around a length behind. I think the key to this one's chances tomorrow will be the ground, its currently forecasted as Good to Firm, good in places but I don't think we'll be seeing that, there should be plenty of rain around Yarmouth tonight and into the morning, looking through previous form he'll like it soft having won on it previously and has also ran well on heavy ground. Both trainer and jockey are not exactly banging in the winners but that does not put me off, Tolley Dean does not get the best of rides but is a more than capable jockey.
