Triple Chance [ with a difference ]

Recommended Posts

Having a browse through some ideas posted on this thread and came across SEABIRD's Triple Chance system in which he attempted to follow the fav in the first 3 races at a selected meeting. After an encouraging paper trial he ahd a go with real money and found out how dangerous the Martingale system can be !!! But i think with a tweak here and there his origial idea stands up and i'm hoping to prove that there can be a profit made. Not a quick hit but more a slow build up :hope Seabirds original system was basically follow the fav in the first races , doubling stakes until a winner is found . Then it's back to the original stake. With this version i propose to follow the favs in the the first 3 NON-HANDICAPS at the meeting where the favs have the best winning % I reason that those types of races have a better stirke rate of winning favs and going for the best track for favs is self explanatory. I'll be doing this for the next 2 weeks as i'm on holiday and will have the time to find out who is most likely to start fav on the day. We'l see what happens after that . Another change i'm making is to incease the original stake by only the value of that starting bet , eg if i start on 5pts the next bet will be 10 , then 15 , then 20 etc until a winner is found [ or a 100pt loss is struck ] I will not consider anything worse than 1/2 [ 1.5 ] in betting. I'll start from today - Sunday and the first meeting is PONTEFRACT [29.6% winning favs]. BET 1 - 2.05 - Theres currently 2 horses vying for favouritism on Betfair so i'll come back nearer the off-time to see who's likely to be the market leader.

Re: Triple Chance [ with a difference ] It just goes to show the danger of assuming that the betting forecasters always get it right. After WIKIKURA and CIAN ROONEY heading the market theres been a major move for SADDLERS LODGE. BET 1 - With 2 mins to the off it looks like CIAN ROONEY will start Fav , so it's 5pt win on this one . * remember this is a paper trail until further notice .
