ken678
Worcester: 2:10 - Old Brigade (IRE) Been hissing down all night here – I am 12 miles +/- from Worcester – so if its been doing the same there it will be a good deal softer than the forecast Good to Soft. On that basis I am look for things that will enjoy more cut and two fit the bill. In the second I think there might be a nice priced winner in Lupita. The bare form figures look unappealing (always a good thing for the price) but the pulled up was a slipped saddle and the horse has bits of form which entitle it to get somewhere near – especially in receipt of up to 24lbs from the others. Don’t know anything about Mr D D Scott, the trainer, but a change of yard often helps as we know so I think there are sufficient positives to suggest at a price (currently 70 on Betfair – though I will back it ew) we will have a value run for the money. At almost other end of the racing spectrum is the JJ O’Neill juggernaut and Old Brigade, his representative in the first will also enjoy the going and has the form in the book to be thereabouts and has probably the best pilot in the race (3 winners from 6 rides this season). The price – basis 9/1 with the win only bookies– is a little less extravagant but generous in my book and I will take a chance on SP, each way.
