chris34 Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 6.20 Newbury Khanjar is of interest here horse been off the track for nearly 2 years so obvious worry of fitness but was running consistently well on the all weather with todays claiming jockey on board, also runs off a career low handicap mark today which looks appealing after some of his performances off much higher marks, if fully fit could run a big race at a big price. 0.25pt e/w Khanjar 8.30 Newbury Onemix was hugely disappointing last time out but has been dropped 3lb for that poor effort and should be on a more fairer mark, also the return to much faster ground could suit. 0.5pt e/w onemix (if smaller than 5/1 1pt win) 9.00 Newbury Don pele has been unfortunate of late but was looking strong when finishing second in a 6f handicap, dropped to 5f which could be a positive move but has done his best running over 6f, runs off same mark but useful claimer claiming a very useful 3lb, has won at this course before and off higher marks than this but not for a while. 0.5pt e/w don pele Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
