6.20 Newbury Khanjar is of interest here horse been off the track for nearly 2 years so obvious worry of fitness but was running consistently well on the all weather with todays claiming jockey on board, also runs off a career low handicap mark today which looks appealing after some of his performances off much higher marks, if fully fit could run a big race at a big price.

8.30 Newbury Onemix was hugely disappointing last time out but has been dropped 3lb for that poor effort and should be on a more fairer mark, also the return to much faster ground could suit.

9.00 Newbury Don pele has been unfortunate of late but was looking strong when finishing second in a 6f handicap, dropped to 5f which could be a positive move but has done his best running over 6f, runs off same mark but useful claimer claiming a very useful 3lb, has won at this course before and off higher marks than this but not for a while.
