York - Wed 13/5/09

Recommended Posts

I was looking at draw stats for the Duke Of York Stakes tomorrow. Adrian Masseys site seems to suggest middle to high has the best returns for both good to firm ground and group races yet the 10 year trends read differently. 1st 3 home were drawn as follows back to 1999: 2008 - 6-1-7 2007 - 4-1-13 2006 - 2-13-9 2005 - 9-10-5 2004 - 5-14-9 2003 - 3-12-1 2002 - 6-1-4 2001 - 8-10-4 2000 - 5-4-9 1999 - 8-1-2 No winners in the last 10 years above stall 9 but several placed efforts (2003-2007) Will be interesting to see if a low drawn horse wins this race this year and interesting to see what the ground is like after last years farce and the numerous years of having a water logged track.

Re: York - Wed 13/5/09 If any of the PL platoon are going put up a brave fight to the 'enemy' bookmakers, if you need more men radio for back up, i hope the sun shines and yous visit the winners enclosure atleast once, have a good one, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa come racing. And splash that Gravy all over the joint, man you got to love that brown sweet smell of Gravy.
