Desert Dreamer 3.50 Beverley (WIN) Watched this one race last time out and it took a while for it to get going but once it did it was flying at the end of the race and that was over 6f. I thought that 7f would suit it and it has stepped up to that trip today. It is a model of consistency and has not been out of the first three for the last 12 runs, going back to June 2008 although many of those races were sellers and claimers. 10 wins-6X2nds-3X3rds over 7f. Slight doubt would be the 1 win on gd-fm but has plenty of placed form on this ground. Same mark of 62 today as last time out and same jockey on board, think it will go well over the extra furlong. An interesting one at a bigger price would be Efidium, has patches of decent form, has won for this jockey twice in the past. Last win was a class 5 handicp off 62, goes off 64 today but has 7lb claimer on board. Concern would be course form, 6 races here, no wins.

Re: Beverley - 4th May 2009 3.50 BEVERLEY CROCIODILE BAY 10/1 EW A moody horse but well capable off current mark. Won only run here at 8f and has won at 7f. This former Nicholls inmate has a decent chance and is best when ridden up with the pace and hopefully can kick on at the furlong pole and at 10's is a fair price.
