Easier to predict races? For example, lets say i wanted to create a system that looked at laying outsiders, normally this would be seen as a low value type of betting, as 50/1 horses would be more like 80/1 on the exchanges. However, there must be certain types of races where laying outsiders would be more predictable than other types of races. Off the top of my head i would imagine outsiders win more often in handicap racing than they do in chases. Is there any truth in this? Are there certain races where outsiders are VERY unlikely to win?
