fintron Posted April 18, 2009 Share Posted April 18, 2009 3.00 Thirsk Herrera was second behind the very useful Crystal Capella in a Newcastle maiden on only her second start and although she ended last season without a win to her name after six starts, she had shown bits and pieces of form and made a winning reappearance at Newcastle earlier this month, winning comfortably off a mark of 63. Although she has been raised 7 lbs for that win, he shaped well last time, perhaps winning with a bit more up her sleeve, and with the yard in very good form, she looks to have more to offer and may be able to get the better of Bollin Greta who, although improving, may perhaps need this run returning from a break. 11/4 Blue Sq, 2 pt Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Of the two I like Knot In Wood's chances in a little 4 runner race, two solid 3rd's so far this season and has been the most consistent performer at this level.
