If anyine fancys coming and railing us PL that going:ok Congratulations on qualifying for the PokerPlayer Grand Prix, in association with Betfred Poker, Live Grand Final! In this email you will find all the information you need to ensure that you make it there in time and have the best possible chance of taking home the PokerPlayer Grand Prix V. The Location The final will take place at The Western Club (www.thewesternclub.com), London, on Saturday, May 2. Membership is required at least 48 hours in advance but is free and can be obtained by emailing [email protected] . Photo ID will be required on the night. Please can you all make sure you do this well in advance so that there is zero chance of any problems on the night itself. The Western Club has a relaxed dress code so feel free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable at the poker table. Getting There Please follow this link for detailed instructions on how to access the Western Club by car – http://thewesternclub.com/directions.aspx There is limited parking at the club itself but there is also a leisure park across the road with free parking available. The nearest tube station is Hanger Lane on the Central Line, which is approx. 20 minutes walk from the club. Local bus routes will be able to take you closer to the venue however, and there are also a plentiful supply of taxis operating in the area. Accommodation The two closest hotel options are; 1) Travelodge Park Royal - http://www.travelodge.co.uk/ - this is 200yds away from the Western and is approximately £65 per room per night. Car parking is also available at £5 per 24hrs. 2) Holiday Inn Park Royal - http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ex/1/en/hotel/lonah?rpb=hotel&start=21&crUrl=/h/d/cp/1/en/hotelsearchresults/proximity - this is a little bit further away, approx 1200yds and approx £59 per room per night. Parking is available priced at £10 per 24hrs. Please note that qualifying for the PokerPlayer Grand Prix does not include any expenses paid for by PokerPlayer or Dennis Publishing. Tournament Structure No-limit Hold’em Freezeout 5,000 Chips 30 minute levels The tournament will begin promptly at 7pm. Please make sure that you are at the venue by 6.15pm to register, meet your fellow competitors, drink and do whatever you wish to do in plenty of time. If you are late you will be blinded out.
