GaF
Re: Poker Tracker Look at post 10 onwards here - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/114/pokertracker/problems-working-my-pokertracker-406532/ Looks like it may be a firewall problem for Postgres - what firewall do you use? Steve-C
Re: Poker Tracker best bet is to post on PT forum stating the problem and wether your on Vista/XP etc. and they'll guide you.

GaF
Re: Poker Tracker Ok - that doesnt apply to you if on XP I cannot recall the set up process when creating a database for the first time :$ If you go to PT3 and Database/Database Management, what do you see? GaF
Re: Poker Tracker Ok - that's good - it means you have a database (I think). Looking like we will need to get to the bottom of your firewall - but lets try something else first. If you go to the import tab, then Auto Import tab, select "Boss Media", then go to the "Boss Media Configuration" tab - have you anything under "Directories configuration"? GaF
Re: Poker Tracker Looking like we will need to get to the bottom of your firewall - but lets try something else first. At the risk of confusing things by looking at two seperate things at the same time ...... if you go to the security center in XP (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/security/internet/sp2_wscintro.mspx ) it should tell you what firewall you have. GaF
Re: Poker Tracker yes one with virgin history and one with paradise history Ok - so that's all set up ok then ..... afraid I think we need to look at the firewall......

GaF
Re: Poker Tracker Ok - I understand that Windows FIrewall is not the best and shouldnt be relied upon - but that's a different discussion - something you may want to look at later.... Just googling to see if there's any known problems between PT3 and Windows firewall (I suspect not) ... brb

GaF
Re: Poker Tracker Ok - lets assume there is no firewall problem and POSTGRES is set up and running properly.... When you import.... You "Begin auto import" - which sites change their status from "not running" to "running"? You want just Boss Media - any others that are autostarting should have autostart switched off. GaF
Re: Poker Tracker The other thing is under the texas holdem tab i try to insert my nick (settings) but it wont let me type in the box it looks shaded? You can not type directly into that box - you need to click on "search". (at least I cannot - but my PT3 has stopped connecting to POSTGRES - If I sort you out, then I need to sort me out :lol :lol :lol) 2009/04/01 16:04:26: Fatal Exception during Auto-Import process: bad allocation 2009/04/01 16:06:49: Boss Media: Stopping auto-import. 2009/04/01 16:06:49: Auto-Import stopped.
